Who will this course appeal to?

The Hawaii test prep course is perfect for those persons who have a busy schedule but need the freedom to pick and choose their times to study for the Hawaii portion of their license exam. This course offers those people the needed flexibility in their schedule while still providing a first class learning experience via the internet.

Some students worry whether they are ready for the Hawaii portion of the exam. Some experienced real estate professionals are given Hawaii Equivalency and allowed to take only the Hawaii exam and need attend a class. Some students have failed to pass the Hawaii exam and need extra help.

How long does the course last?

Once registered, you will have access to the course for a 6 month period; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is ample time to complete the course at your own pace. We give a time frame on the course not as a restriction but as an incentive to finish the course. Since the course is taken (independently OR self-study) and self-monitored we feel placing this time frame on the course will help motivate persons to finish the course. However, if for some unforeseen circumstance the 6 month period expires before completing the course please notify us as the situation and we discuss extending the 6 month period.

What does this course include?

The course currently has over 1100 slides, 27 chapter practice tests, mid term exam, and a final exam. These materials along with the required books are more than enough material to aid in the learning process. However, we are working to add more content and materials! Future plans include learning aids such as flashcards, the addition of narrated slides, and additional practice tests. The Hawaii test prep course includes an online collection of Hawaii specific information (previously distributed to students as a large, three-ring binder divided into 37 sections of Hawaii topics) Good examples of the sections include:
  • Hawaii Revised Statutes 467
  • License Law
  • HRS 436
  • Professional and Vocational Licensing
  • Hawaii Administrative Rules
  • Title 16
  • Chapter 99 for Brokers and Salespersons.
  • De Minimus
  • Hawaii Based Loan Programs
  • History of Hawaii Leasehold
  • Hawaii terminology.

What's the online advantage?

Taking the course online allows you to progress at your own pace as your everyday life dictates. No need to arrange work or other events around a set class schedule. You have the freedom to take the course when it is convenient for you, a real advantage in itself. However, there is more! Although you work at your own pace and a schedule that is convenient to you, you still get the professional materials and instruction as in "real" classroom environment. You will be able to email questions to our professional staff and get answers within a 24 hour time period (often sooner). This is the real advantage, all resources as with in a real classroom, without losing the personal instruction.

How will I be graded/How does the course operate?

The course is divided into several chapters which cover required material. The first chapter is strictly an introduction. Each chapter has a short test or quiz ranging from 5-15 questions that you must pass (70% or higher) to move onto the next chapter. Upon passing the final chapter test, complete the survey, and you will be mailed your certificate of completion which you will use as proof of completion when taking the Hawaii portion of the state exam.

Is there a guarantee on the course?

We back our course 100%! If you pass our course and for some reason do not achieve a passing rate on the State Exam please notify us and we will try and accommodate you in every way. We will provide access to the course again and give access to other materials that may be useful. We will work with you to achieve your goals.
